Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine life without technology. Because every aspect of our lives have some sort of science or technology involved, whether we like it or not. It’s not hard to believe that everyday, there’s a chance that a new piece of tech is created or imagined. That is because we are living in a world where people strive to make everything less of a hassle and more of a convenience. Computer Hardware is one example of a technology that is being improved on each and every day. Companies strive to one up other companies by creating new and innovative products that consumers will appreciate.

One of the advantages of having or creating a lot of new computer hardware is getting to buy and use quality products that aim to make our lives more convenient. Another advantage is that creating new computer hardware often can lead to breakthroughs that can eventually help mankind in one way or another.

The disadvantages of creating too much computer hardware is resource depletion. Since our Earth has a limited supply of resources, this means that one day, people won’t have enough to continue creating new and improved hardware. Another disadvantage is: old and unwanted hardware can lead to accumulation of trashes, therefore polluting the earth even more. The most disadvantageous aspect of new computer hardware I can think of is addiction. People are entertained and distracted easily. New hardware means nicer specs and faster run time. I believe that this will only make us more dependent on technology for entertainment, security, information, communication and many more.
